The IEN recognised as a centre within EFACIS:

We are delighted to announce that the Irish English Network is to be recognised as a centre within the  European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS).  This recognition means increased visibility for research on Irish English; it ensures that the interests of researchers in Irish English are represented at a European level and it opens doors for transdisciplinary research. As part of the co-operation, members of the Irish English Network are entitled to join EFACIS for a reduced annual membership fee and so enjoy EFACIS benefits (cf. https://www.efacis.eu/content/about-efacis).

The fee for a one-year subscription to EFACIS is 30 EUR as an individual, or 15 EUR if you belong to the Irish English Network.

We would like to encourage all researchers on Irish English, whether established or junior researchers, to support this new initiative and to become a member of EFACIS. The more members we have, the more visible the study of Irish English will be.

Members of the Irish English Network should simply contact EFACIS at efaciscoord@efacis.eu and state that they are a member of the Irish English Network (IrEN)

Any junior or senior researcher in Irish English not yet a member of the Irish English Network, can join the network at https://www.irish-english.net/join-us/ Here there is an option to join EFACIS.
