New opening in the EFACIS Literature as translation project:

The European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS), is currently looking for proposals for the upcoming installment of its long-running literature as translation project. The new installment builds on the past successes of Yeats Reborn (2015), Translating Banville (2018), the Aistriu project with N.U.I Galway (2020) and Anne Enright (cf., e.g. https://enright.efacis.eu/). The project allows both scholars and their students to translate texts of the chosen author. The selected translations and their commentaries will be published on this website. This enable the translators to engage in a fruitful discussion on the motivation of their choices.
