Call for Papers for a conference on the Irish language which may be of interest to Irish English linguists. Traditionally, most papers are presented in English. Thanks to our colleagues in Irish linguistics for drawing our attention to the conference:
A conference will be held on 9-10th June 2023 in the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin, which will be presented with the Linguistics of the Gaelic Languages. The conference will be held under the auspices of the Historical Irish Dictionary.
Students carrying out research in any area of Irish language linguistics, in any period of tradition, a summary of paper (25 minutes), in Irish or English, are welcome to send to FNG@RIA.ie before Friday 27th January 2023. Postgraduates and early career students who are researching in linguistics are particularly welcome, and papers are welcome to deal with Scottish Gaelic and Manx.

• dialectology
• grammar and contemporary syntax
• Phisology
• the e-linguistics and corpus linguistics
