// Election of new EFACIS PhD Representative(s) //

EFACIS, with which the Irish English Network (IrEN) is affiliated, is electing one or more new PhD Representatives at the end of August. The election will take place on Friday 30 August 2024 at 10.30 am CET, both via Zoom and in person at the EFACIS PhD seminar.

PhD students interested in becoming EFACIS representatives can be nominated and can nominate themselves by registering their names via email with the EFACIS coordinator, Sien Deltour at efaciscoord@efacis.eu

The main role of the PhD representative(s) is to function as a point of contact for other PhD students who are members, or are interested in becoming members, of EFACIS.
In cooperation with the EFACIS board and coordinator, the new representative(s) may like to establish new initiatives or continue with the current monthly online PhD lunch break aiming at providing a forum for discussion specifically for PhD
students.
