The Inaugural Irish Studies in Asia (ISA) Conference
The Organizing Committee announced the Inaugural Irish Studies in Asia (ISA) Conference, which will take place in Kobe, Japan, on March 21-22, 2025. The conference seeks to explore Ireland’s contributions to linguistics, literature, and culture and its connections with Asia and the wider world.
Papers from presenters of any nationality, in English or Japanese, that are broadly accessible and of general interest, offering insights that will resonate with attendees from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, are encouraged. There is no requirement for either presenters or attendees to be ISA members.This conference will be an in-person event only, and no video conferencing options will be available for presentations.
Also note that fellow linguist, Karen Corrigan, is one of the keynote speakers at the inaugural conference.

Abstract Length: 250–300 words accompanied by a 50-word summary, or if the presentation will be in Japanese [CHARACTER COUNT]
