// Native English Speakers: Survey Completion (PhD Research) //
Marina Pérez, a PhD student at the University of the Balearic Islands, is preparing a research paper for publication in a journal on the expression of the perfect in Irish English. For that, she is seeking native Irish English speakers to complete a brief perception survey, specifically she is looking for young native Irish speakers (up to the age of 40) who were born and raised in Cork, Tyrone, Down or Antrim, as these counties are the focus of the study.
It would be greatly appreciated if the survey would be shared among Irish acquaintances and colleagues or with any relevant institutions (e.g., universities), as their participation would significantly help to gather some data on the degree of acceptability of these constructions in present-day Ireland. If it is wished, Marina would be more than happy to acknowledge the contribution to the dissemination of the questionnaire in the paper.
